Mary is fabulous let start our by saying that much. This has to be one of the best places I've stayed. All rooms are very spacious in #10. Full size fridge, small oven and stove, microwave and everything needed to make your own meal.Pool area is great and is heated. The only thing that could have been better is the weather; rain every day. If only Sunrise Garden had control of that.
Nice place but no communication We booked four nights and stayed one. The second day of our trip, we returned from lunch to find the entire complex abandoned. It was due to the hurricane but we were never contacted. We called and got the run around. We did receive a notification from manatee county regarding a mandatory evacuation but nothing from vacasa.
Great place to stay in anna maria island. Peaceful area. Great location. One minute walk to the pier and shops on the Tampa Bay side and an eight minute walk to the gulf. Lots of places to eat and lots of local shops. The room was cute and each room has an outdoor area/table/chairs. Pool was warm. Would recommend.
This is our second time staying at this location in this exact room and we had a great time. The room was small. The a/c was in the window. The bed was soft. The tv was small. Who cares! The pool was perfect! The beach was 2 minutes away. The staff was super friendly. There are shops, restaurants, ice cream shops, etc within walking distance. Your are about 100 feet from a trolley stop. we loved staying at sunrise garden. The only real con was the lack of water pressure in the shower. You may as well wash your hair in the sink. It was annoyingly brutal. 5 stars if they figure out how to fix it. It was bad 8 years ago and it's still bad. Not a deal breaker though...
Sunrise garden matched exactly what we expected and what was featured online. Comfortable bed, quiet, clean, and walkable to everything. The only feedback i could provide is that the pool area has a fresh towel cabinet, but there were never any fresh towels when we'd check.
Our poolside unit was lovely. It was a great size, clean, quiet & had everything you needed for the perfect stay. The outside patio area with table & chairs was a definite bonus. Lush vegetation outside the unit & around the grounds attracts many birds & squirrels which are fun to watch. The pool area was really nice, too. It's a help yourself service on the housekeeping, the stores are open all day if you need anything. There are free laundry facilities on site, too. The owners are very friendly & helpful and there is an adorable resort cat. A great place to stay.
I stayed Memorial weekend with my husband and 3 kids (6,5 and 2 years old) in room #10 and we loved it, the pool was like a hidden oasis. The hotel is close to the pier and the beach, the room was clean and nice, furniture looks new and kitchen well equipped, it had the right size for us one king bed and a sofa bed; the price was right. We definitely will book with them again. I don't have any complaint with the place we enjoyed our stay there, very relaxing!.
We stayed in unit 16. It’s was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. I appreciated the beach towels! We loved the pool area and that the resort is pet friendly. Our neighbors were wonderful. I highly recommend.
